World Habitat Day 2022

World Habitat Day is celebrated worldwide every year to bring attention to the state of our towns and cities, as well as the basic right of all people to adequate shelter. Today, over one billion people live in overcrowded settlements with inadequate housing, and that number is rising every day.

The 36th edition has been celebrated today, 3rd October under the theme "Mind the Gap. Leave No One and Place Behind" The city of Bertoua was choose to held the celebration head by Minister Célestine KETCHA COURTES under the national theme "Fighting precarious neighbourhood for safer cities." This year celebration coincide with the celebration of the World Architecture Day.
